Spotlight
In case you missed the announcement amidst the chaos of the holidays, our friends at @OctavFi unveiled a legitimately massive W for the on-chain space and its denizens!
In concert with Chainlink, they are now providing neutral and transparent on-chain NAV data!
As reported in their article below, this was something that defi has heretofore lacked:
“Over the past few years, DeFi has grown into a complex ecosystem powered by onchain strategies, tokenized assets, and an entirely new class of asset managers. But something fundamental has been missing the whole time. Something traditional finance solved decades ago, and something the DeFi industry has been forced to ignore because the infrastructure simply did not exist.
That something is transparent, neutral, and independently verified NAV…”
And Octav has stepped up to answer this need:
“Today, we are proud to announce a major step forward for the entire industry.
Octav has integrated Chainlink to deliver NAV data onchain, giving any asset manager, vault curator, or strategist the ability to rely on an independent, automated, and verifiable source of truth…
The future of asset management will not be offchain spreadsheets and opaque reporting. It will be NAV that lives directly onchain, accessible by anyone, integrated into smart contracts, and verified by decentralized infrastructure…”
This is an extremely positive development and further positions Octav at the absolute forefront of on-chain data + analytics.
As we have previously reported, Octav is an incredibly cool platform that allows users to monitor their entire portfolio (across ALL chains and protocols), view historic performance, understand total exposure distribution, track P&L across time, build all sorts of dashboards and widgets, and tons of other cool stuff…
It is already trusted by 200+ leading digital asset managers (including Euler, Beefy, Tulipa Capital, and more) and if you are an on-chain trader, defi protocol, family office, business, or institution with needs in the above areas then there is no more robust and muscular option out there to take advantage of!
Make sure to follow the @OctavFi account on Twitter/X for more updates, and stay tuned as we continue bringing attention to everything they are doing!
